§ 74-453. Nonconforming signs.

Signs which legally exist but become nonconforming signs upon adoption or amendment of any ordinance shall be replaced by a sign in conformity with the provisions of this chapter upon the earliest of the following:
(1)

Three years from the date of the adoption of the ordinance causing the nonconformity;

(2)

Reconstruction following any substantial destruction of the existing sign; or

(3)

Any alteration, replacement, relocation, or remodeling of the existing sign.
