§ 38-11. Nonpayment of taxicab fares.

Any person who engages a taxicab or other vehicle for hire for the purpose of transporting said person to a point within the town limits of the town shall be responsible for paying the fare for such service. Failure to pay such fare shall be a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished in accordance with G.S. 14-4(a).
