§ 74-313. Recreational district 2.

  • Recreational district 2 shall consist of mini-parks which are administered by homeowner's associations for the benefit of their members and guests, or by the town for the benefit of the public. Permitted uses within this district are: boat mooring facilities, boat launching ramps, docks for small boats, public beach access facilities under the control of the town, picnic facilities, overlooks, decks, benches, swimming pools, tennis courts, other game facilities and parking facilities appurtenant to such uses not exceeding 40 percent of land area associated with the use. Natural terrain shall be maintained to the extent possible with minimum disturbance to maritime forest and shrubs.

    Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, impervious cover in recreational district 2 shall be subject to the limitations described in section 74-315.
