§ 74-214. Sidewalks.

If a site is to be developed or redeveloped for commercial use, multifamily use, or as a residential subdivision and the current pedestrian master plan indicates that sidewalks should be located on the site's right-of-way, regardless of timeframe, the proposed development or redevelopment shall provide for sidewalks as indicated in the pedestrian master plan by either having them constructed or providing the town with the funds necessary for future construction. Sidewalks shall meet the requirements of subsection 66-4(6). The certificate of occupancy for a property is contingent upon compliance with this requirement.
