§ 42-4. Recycling containers.
Every residential unit shall provide a sufficient number of containers for each residential unit in which shall be deposited all recyclables existing or generated at such premises. Furthermore:
(1)
All residential units, except multifamily, shall utilize a minimum of one recycling container for curbside collection per residential unit.
(2)
All residential vacation rental units shall be required to utilize a container, identified and marked for recyclables.
(3)
Each multifamily residential building and commercial business location shall utilize a central recycling collection station for use by the residents of the multifamily complex and commercial businesses. It shall be the responsibility of each owner, tenant or occupant of a multifamily complex or commercial business to separate recyclables from the refuse and cause the same to be placed in the central collection station for recyclables.
