§ 22-1. Debris from construction work.

  • All litter, refuse, scrap lumber and debris accumulating during the repair, modification or construction of any building or other structure shall be properly removed from the work site on a daily basis or placed in a suitable closed container and retained on-site and off the right-of-way until the work is completed. The building inspector shall issue a stop work order if necessary to enforce this section. Furthermore, all such litter, refuse, scrap lumber, debris and containers shall be properly removed from the site prior to issuance of the certificate of occupancy.
